MU’s LIS program is providing one final offering of 9404 School Library administration and 9406 Curriculum and School Libraries in Summer 2013!

Register for them NOW if you need to. Starting in Fall 2013,  MU will not offer these courses.

These content areas are required for DESE school library media certification in Missouri.

Professor John Budd’s article featured in The Chronicle of Higher Education

At the 2011 Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) in Philadelphia, PA, John Budd, a professor in the School of Information Science and Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri at Columbia, presented preliminary findings on his most recent study of retracted publications in biomedical literature.

From Fox 4 News in Kansas City (John Pepitone reporting): More students are looking to stay closer to home to further their education, and as a result the University of Missouri is bringing a unique program to the Kansas City metro area as specialized graduate classes are now underway at the new Mizzou Center in Blue Springs, MO.
